Our Promise to You

At Headlights Pro, we are confident in the quality of our restoration work. That's why every restoration package comes with our 100% Money-Back Guarantee. If your headlights do not show a meaningful, visible improvement of at least 50% clarity compared to their pre-restoration condition, we will refund your payment in full — no questions asked.

1. When You Qualify for a Full Refund

You are entitled to a full refund if, after our restoration service has been completed, your headlights have not achieved at least a 50% improvement in clarity compared to their documented pre-restoration condition. Clarity is assessed visually by comparing the professionally taken before and after photographs provided to you upon completion of the service.

In practical terms, this means if your headlights were heavily yellowed, hazed, or oxidised before our service and they remain substantially unchanged or show only negligible improvement after restoration, you will receive a complete refund of the amount paid.

2. What Does Not Qualify for a Refund

This guarantee exists to protect you from unsatisfactory work — not as an unconditional refund offer. A refund will not be issued under the following circumstances:

Successful restoration with visible improvement. If your headlights have been restored to a noticeably improved condition (50% or greater improvement in clarity), a refund is not available — even if the result is not 100% perfection. For example, if your headlights were severely yellowed and oxidised and we restore them to approximately 80% clarity, this constitutes a successful restoration and does not qualify for a refund.

Change of mind. Refunds are not available simply because you have changed your mind, no longer want the service after it has been completed, or wish to receive a refund for any reason unrelated to the quality of the restoration outcome.

Pre-existing physical damage. Our restoration service addresses oxidation, yellowing, hazing, and UV degradation of headlight lenses. It does not repair cracks, holes, moisture ingress, internal fogging, burn marks, or any other structural or internal damage. If your headlights have such pre-existing conditions that limit the achievable restoration result, this does not qualify for a refund.

Post-restoration damage or misuse. Any deterioration of your headlights caused by events occurring after the restoration — including but not limited to accidents, stone chips, chemical exposure, abrasive cleaning products, automatic car wash damage, or aftermarket modifications — is not covered by this guarantee.

Unreasonable expectations beyond scope. Our service restores headlight lens clarity. Expectations relating to headlight bulb brightness, electrical function, alignment, or any factor unrelated to the lens surface condition are outside the scope of this guarantee.

Previous 2K clear coat applications. Headlights that have been previously restored with a 2K clear coat by another provider may require our Advanced Restoration package. If we assess that a Standard Restoration is not suitable on arrival due to a prior clear coat application, we will not proceed and will issue a full refund automatically.

3. How Clarity Improvement Is Assessed

To ensure fairness and transparency, we document every restoration with before and after photographs taken under consistent conditions at the time of service. These photographs serve as the objective record of the restoration outcome and form the basis of any guarantee claim assessment.

Clarity improvement is measured by comparing the visible level of oxidation, yellowing, hazing, and overall transparency of the headlight lens before and after the restoration. An improvement of 50% or greater — meaning a clearly visible, meaningful difference that is readily apparent in the before and after photos — constitutes a successful restoration.

4. How to Make a Guarantee Claim

If you believe your restoration has not achieved the minimum 50% clarity improvement, you must contact us within 14 days of the restoration service date. To submit a claim:

Include clear, well-lit photographs of your headlights taken after the restoration, showing the issue you are reporting.

Our team will review your claim against the documented before and after photographs from the service and respond within 5 business days.

If the claim is approved, a full refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days.

5. Money-Back Guarantee vs. 3-Year Warranty

Please note that this Money-Back Guarantee and our 3-Year Warranty are separate protections:

Money-Back Guarantee

Covers the immediate quality of the restoration. If we fail to achieve at least a 50% improvement in clarity at the time of service, you receive a full refund. Claims must be made within 14 days of service.

3-Year Warranty

Covers the longevity of the restoration. If your headlights re-yellow or re-oxidise within 3 years of the service date under normal driving conditions, we will re-restore them at no additional cost. Separate terms apply.

6. General Conditions

This guarantee applies to all Headlights Pro restoration packages (Suburb Special Restoration, Standard Restoration, and Advanced Restoration).

Guarantee claims must be submitted within 14 days of the restoration service date. Claims submitted after this period will not be accepted under this guarantee.

The guarantee is limited to one claim per booking. Refunds are issued to the original payment method only.

Headlights Pro reserves the right to inspect the vehicle in person before approving a refund claim, if deemed necessary.

Headlights Pro reserves the right to offer a complimentary re-restoration as an alternative to a refund, at its discretion and with the customer's agreement.

This guarantee does not limit your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

3-Year Warranty

Long-term protection for your restoration — because quality work should last.

Your 3-Year Warranty Coverage

Every Headlights Pro restoration comes with a 3-year warranty against re-yellowing and re-oxidation of the restored headlight lenses. If your headlights deteriorate due to a failure of our restoration work within 3 years of the original service date, we will re-restore them at no additional cost, subject to the conditions outlined below.

1. What Is Covered

This warranty covers the re-yellowing, re-hazing, or re-oxidation of headlight lenses that were successfully restored by Headlights Pro, where the deterioration is attributable to a failure of our UV sealant coating or restoration process — and not to external factors, environmental abuse, or improper vehicle storage (see eligibility conditions below).

If your headlights begin to yellow or haze again within 3 years of service and you meet the eligibility conditions, we will re-restore them at no charge.

2. Vehicle Storage Requirement IMPORTANT

This warranty is only valid if your vehicle is garaged or undercover for the majority of its non-driving time. UV radiation from prolonged sun exposure is the primary cause of headlight lens degradation. Our commercial-grade UV sealant provides excellent protection under normal conditions, but it is not designed to withstand indefinite, unprotected sun exposure.

Specifically, this warranty requires that:

Your vehicle is parked in a garage, carport, or other covered/shaded structure for the majority of the time it is not being driven (e.g., overnight, during work hours, on weekends).

Occasional outdoor parking (e.g., shopping centres, short visits, day trips) is perfectly acceptable and does not void the warranty.

Warranty void if: Your vehicle is primarily stored outdoors in direct sunlight on a regular, ongoing basis (e.g., permanently street-parked without shade, stored in an open driveway with no cover). Vehicles that are consistently exposed to full sun for the majority of their idle time are not covered, as this level of UV exposure exceeds the protective capacity of any sealant product.

3. What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover deterioration or damage caused by:

Prolonged unprotected sun exposure — vehicles stored primarily outdoors in direct sunlight (see Section 2 above).

Physical damage — including stone chips, cracks, impacts, scratches, or accident damage to the headlight lenses.

Chemical damage — exposure to harsh chemicals, solvents, abrasive cleaning agents, bug/tar removers applied directly to lenses, or industrial fallout.

Automatic car washes — abrasive brushes in automatic car washes can damage the UV sealant coating and headlight surface over time.

Aftermarket modifications — any third-party treatments, coatings, tinting, wraps, or modifications applied to the headlights after our restoration.

Internal headlight issues — moisture ingress, condensation, internal fogging, bulb burns, or electrical faults inside the headlight assembly.

Normal wear and tear — minor surface imperfections that accumulate naturally over time but do not materially affect clarity or light output.

4. How to Make a Warranty Claim

If you believe your headlights have re-yellowed or re-oxidised within the 3-year warranty period and you meet the eligibility conditions, follow these steps:

Include clear, well-lit photographs of your headlights showing the current condition and the deterioration you are reporting.

Our team will review your claim against your original before/after service photographs and respond within 5 business days with an assessment.

If your claim is approved, we will schedule your complimentary warranty re-restoration at a date, time, and location of our choosing (see Section 5 below).

5. Warranty Service Location & Scheduling IMPORTANT

Unlike your original restoration (which was a mobile service at your location), all warranty re-restorations are performed at a premise nominated by Headlights Pro. By accepting this warranty, you agree to the following:

You must bring your vehicle to the location specified by Headlights Pro for the warranty service. This may be our primary workshop or another authorised premise within the Sydney metropolitan area.

The date and time of the warranty service will be scheduled by Headlights Pro based on availability. We will provide you with a selection of available appointment slots, and you choose the one that works best for you.

Transport costs are your responsibility. Any costs associated with transporting your vehicle to and from the warranty service location (fuel, tolls, parking, towing, etc.) are borne by the customer.

Mobile service is not included in warranty claims. The complimentary mobile service applies only to the original paid restoration booking.

6. General Warranty Conditions

The warranty period is 3 years from the original date of service, as recorded in your booking confirmation. Claims submitted after this period will not be accepted.

This warranty applies to all Headlights Pro restoration packages (Suburb Special Restoration, Standard Restoration, and Advanced Restoration).

The warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original customer and the original vehicle for which the service was booked.

The warranty covers one complimentary re-restoration per original booking. If a second warranty issue arises after the re-restoration, it will be assessed on a case-by-case basis at Headlights Pro's discretion.

Headlights Pro reserves the right to inspect the vehicle in person as part of the warranty claim assessment process before approving any claim.

Headlights Pro may request reasonable evidence of vehicle storage conditions (e.g., confirmation that the vehicle is garaged) when assessing a warranty claim.

This warranty is a re-restoration service warranty only. It does not entitle the customer to a monetary refund. Refund rights are governed separately by the Money-Back Guarantee (above) and Australian Consumer Law.

This warranty does not limit your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
